Catalyst Community provides a variety of services, supports and referrals to put families at the center of a community of support services. Catalyst Community is committed to helping families increase the quantity and quality of protective factors in their family. Protective Factors are attributes that serve as buffers allowing families to remain strong, even under stress.

Resource Lending Libraries
Our South Lake Tahoe and Markleeville lending libraries contain a variety of books, DVDs, and videos on a variety of educational and parenting topics. Our lending libraries also have a variety of developmentally appropriate toys and materials for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers that can be borrowed.

Healthy Bottom Line Diaper Bank
If you find yourself running short on diapers and have nowhere to turn, families may visit our Cameron Park and South Lake Tahoe offices to receive a supplemental supply of diapers and wipes once a month. Be sure to bring the child(ren) needing the diapers or proof you are their parent/guardian as well as your picture ID.
Clothing Corner
Our South Lake Tahoe office provides gives away free clothing, equipment, and toys for families in need. These items are donated by parents and supporters, and families can simply take what they need.
